Rosemary holds tertiary qualifications in Counseling, Positive Psychology, emotional therapy techniques, and Career Counseling. She considers her roles in Training and Counseling as both a profession and a calling.
Over the past decade in the VET sector, Rosemary has excelled as a Trainer Assessor in the Health and Community Services sector. Her expertise extends to Disaster Counselling, Wellbeing, Positive Psychology, and her recent role as an EFT Practitioner, demonstrating her commitment to personal and professional growth.
Rosemary’s specialisation and passion centre around Evidence-Based EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), a counselling approach that combines acupressure, energy medicine, exposure therapy, and cognitive-behavioural elements. Using this innovative approach, she is exceptionally dedicated to helping individuals overcome personal fears and traumas.
Her love for teaching is palpable, as it connects with and empowers people in the real world. The interactions and enthusiasm of her students fuel her desire to guide them toward building on their strengths using innovative teaching methods, ultimately helping them achieve competency in their lives and future endeavours. Witnessing her students’ successes fills her with pride and motivation, solidifying her sense of purpose in her work.
Rosemary sees that the Diploma of Counselling offers formal training for those who want to use counselling skills in their professions. It equips students with essential skills, knowledge, and techniques to create successful therapeutic relationships, improve communication, and make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Outside her professional pursuits, she enjoys going to the beach, swimming, painting, and exploring other forms of art. Her strong bond with family, friends, and pets also adds to the richness of her life.
