Is RPL open to everyone?
Absolutely. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about eligibility.
For which qualifications does TrainSmart Australia offer RPL?
RPL is available for any qualification into which you have chosen to enrol at TrainSmart Australia.
How many units can I get RPL for?
RPL is available for an unlimited number of units per qualification. You can achieve RPL for one or several units allowing you to gain a part-qualification. We will then make arrangements for you to complete the units you’re missing.
In certain circumstances you may achieve RPL for all the units of a qualification. In this case, you gain your qualification at minimal cost without ever having to attend workshops or complete assessments.
What if I can’t find my old qualifications?
Contact the organisation at which you completed your studies – they may be able to provide you with a copy of your qualifications. If this isn’t possible, the assessor will require you to demonstrate your competency in other ways.
This may include a practical skills test or workplace assessment at your place of employment or another suitable venue.
How do I know which units I can get RPL for?
Leave that to us. As long as you provide the sufficient documentation required, a TrainSmart Australia RPL Skills Assessor will be in touch to let you know which units you can gain credit for. If you are familiar with what is required in the units, you may specify the units you wish to RPL in Part 2 of the application which will assist the RPL Skills Assessor and speed up the application process.
