Melany brings extensive experience in remedial massage, lymphatic therapy, and equine bodywork, guiding students with practical industry insight and a passion for building confident, capable therapists.

With a strong background across clinical practice, sports massage, day spas, palliative care, and regional and remote settings, Melany offers students real-world insight into the diverse opportunities within the massage profession. Her work has enabled her to support clients from all walks of life, strengthening her adaptable, holistic approach to treatment.

A key focus of Melany’s practice is Manual Lymphatic Drainage, where she has achieved Level II Vodder certification and continues to expand her expertise. She also brings specialist knowledge in kinesiotaping and cryotherapy, integrating a range of evidence-based techniques into her professional and teaching practice.

Melany’s career has also been shaped by her passion for equine therapy, having completed equine sports massage training and international study in manual equine lymphatic drainage. This rare combination of human and animal therapy experience adds depth to her understanding of movement, recovery, and rehabilitation.

She is deeply committed to supporting adult learners and understands the challenges of returning to study or entering a new profession.

Outside of work, Melany enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and caring for animals, reflecting her grounded and compassionate nature.
