Study Remedial Massage on Campus in Perth
Through Jobs and Skills WA government-subsidised training, eligible students can study the HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage on campus in Perth, combining face-to-face trainer support with hands-on practical learning. This on-campus format gives you regular opportunities to practise techniques, receive immediate feedback and build confidence before applying your skills in supervised Student Clinic sessions.
Along with meeting the eligibility criteria, students must attend scheduled classes to gain the Jobs & Skills WA subsidised course fees.
Training Delivery & Pathway Eligibility
Attend scheduled face-to-face classes at our Perth CBD campus two days per week. Students choosing this study option need to be able to commit to attending both scheduled campus days each week, allowing consistent participation in theory, practical training and hands-on skill development.
Face-to-face classes give you the opportunity to learn directly from your trainers, practise remedial massage techniques, ask questions as you learn and receive immediate feedback to help build your confidence and practical skills throughout the course.
Complete 200 supervised Student Clinic hours, including 140 treatment hours, and apply your skills in a practical training environment with real clients.
The Student Clinic provides a supervised training environment where you can work with real clients and apply the skills developed in class. This experience can help you strengthen your professional communication, treatment planning and practical massage techniques before entering the industry.
Learn from experienced trainers with professional backgrounds in remedial massage. They incorporate practical industry experience and real-world insights into the classroom to support your technical skills and professional development.
Job Seeker Pathway – 2 days per week
A ‘Job Seeker’ is an individual that is currently unemployed or under employed (working less than 20 hours a week with one or multiple employers).

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the subsidy, your primary place of residence must be in Western Australia, you must have left school, and must meet one of the below eligibility criteria:
- You are an Australian Citizen
- You are a permanent visa holder or a holder of a sub-class 300, 309, 444, 445, 449, 461, 785, 786, 790, or 820 visa
- You are a partner or dependant of a holder of a temporary visa sub-class 188, 457, 482, 489, 491, or 494
- You hold a Bridging Visa E (subclasses 050 and 051) with a valid application for a visa sub-class 785 or 790
- Holders of a Bridging Visa who are eligible to work, and who made a valid application for a visa sub-class 866

Eligible students accessing Jobs & Skills WA subsidised training are required to pay the applicable student tuition fee. This fee can be paid either upfront or by interest-free instalments.

Annual Capped Cost**
Eligible students may benefit from an annual course fee cap. The cap is generally $400 per calendar year for eligible concession students and $1,200 per calendar year for other eligible students. As this course may extend across more than one calendar year, the cap may apply in each calendar year of study. Resource fees are additional.
**The annual course fee cap is $400 for eligible concession holders and youth between 15 and 24 years old, and $1,200 for all other eligible students, plus the resource fee. This means that regardless of how much the course normally costs, you will not have to pay more than this set amount per course in any one calendar year. Resource fees are not included in the annual cap fee and differ per course.
