With blended delivery, you can complete the theoretical components of your Diploma online while receiving ongoing support from experienced trainers and developing your practical skills through supervised, hands-on training in Perth.
Complete the theoretical components of your qualification from home, giving you greater flexibility to fit study around work, family and other commitments.
You’ll learn essential areas including anatomy and physiology, client assessment, treatment planning, professional practice and remedial massage principles through structured online learning.
You’ll also have access to our easy to navigate online learning platform, where you can access all learning resources and support from experienced trainers throughout your studies, so you’re not studying on your own.
Remedial massage is a hands-on profession, which is why practical training is an important part of your qualification.
You’ll develop and practise massage techniques, client consultation, musculoskeletal assessment and treatment planning while building the confidence to apply your knowledge in a professional environment.
You’ll also develop practical client management skills, including communicating with clients, conducting consultations, documenting client information and managing the treatment process from initial assessment through to follow-up care.
Put your learning into practice through 200 supervised Student Clinic hours, including 140 treatment hours, working with real clients in our Perth Student Clinic.
This experience gives you the opportunity to bring together your practical techniques, client management, communication, assessment and treatment planning skills in a supervised environment.
By working with a range of clients throughout your training, you can build confidence and gain valuable experience before entering the remedial massage industry.
Throughout your qualification, you’ll be supported by trainers with professional experience in remedial massage and the health sector.
They bring practical industry knowledge into your learning and provide guidance across both your theoretical studies and practical training, helping you develop the skills and confidence needed for professional practice.
