Study Counselling on Campus in Perth
Along with meeting the eligibility criteria, students must attend scheduled classes to gain the Jobs and Skills WA subsidised course fees.

Jobs & Skills WA Pathway Eligiblity & Training Delivery
An ‘Existing Worker’ is an individual who works 20 hours or more per week with a single or multiple employers.
- Mandatory, On-Campus, Face-to-Face Classes – One Day per Week
- Approx. 10 weeks of classes will be delivered online, through mandatory remote/virtual classes
A ‘Job Seeker’ is an individual that is currently unemployed or under-employed (working less than 20 hours a week with one or across multiple employers) and able to access mainstream training.
- Mandatory, On-Campus, Face-to-Face Classes – Two Days per Week
- Approx. 10 weeks of classes will be delivered online, through mandatory remote/virtual classes
To be considered for the subsidy, your primary place of residence must be in Western Australia, you must have left school, and must meet one of the below eligibility criteria:
- You are an Australian Citizen
- You are a permanent visa holder or a holder of a sub-class 300, 309, 444, 445, 449, 461, 785, 786, 790, or 820 visa
- You are a partner or dependant of a holder of a temporary visa sub-class 188, 457, 482, 489, 491, or 494
- You hold a Bridging Visa E (subclasses 050 and 051) with a valid application for a visa sub-class 785 or 790
- Holders of a Bridging Visa who are eligible to work, and who made a valid application for a visa sub-class 866

Eligible students accessing Jobs & Skills WA subsidised training are required to pay the applicable student tuition fee. This fee can be paid either upfront or by interest-free instalments.

Payment can be made weekly, monthly, or in quarterly instalments.
Annual Course Fee Cap**
Course costs are capped at $400, or $1,200 (based on annual capped fee) per course, per calendar year
**The annual course fee cap is $400 for eligible concession holders and youth between 15 and 24 years old, and $1,200 for all other eligible students, plus the resource fee. This means that regardless of how much the course normally costs, you will not have to pay more than this set amount per course in any one calendar year. Resource fees are not included in the annual cap fee and differ per course.
