This course is delivered through an online “Trainer Directed Learning” approach which involves the flexibility of online learning and while attending scheduled meetings and assessments with our IT trainers.
All online learning is completed through our Learning Management System, ‘LearnSmart’ which hosts all your assessments, reading materials, lecture recordings and progress tracking.

Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, as part of a team, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor).
TrainSmart Australia has a number of standing agreements in place with universities across Australia which guarantees student entry and credit transfers upon completion of a selection of our diploma’s.
Upon completion of the ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology course, students can gain entry into a Bachelors of Information Technology with 70 – 80 Credit Points with Griffith University.
Prior to being enrolled into a VET course, you must meet the academic prerequisites.

Each unit comprises of 3 assessments including knowledge based questions, case studies and practical assessments.
To complete all 20 units in this course, it is recommended that you allocate 20-25 hours per week towards your personal study time.
Completing a nationally recognised qualification (or training) means that your qualification and credentials are recognised all across Australia by other registered training organisations and employers.
All accredited courses must adhere to the standards set by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA). According to ASQA, accreditation is formal confirmation that the course:
TrainSmart Australia uses a competency based marking system which assesses whether a student can demonstrate the learning outcomes of the unit/question. Assessments are marked ‘Satisfactory’ and ‘Not Yet Satisfactory’.
Being marked as Not Yet Satisfactory is not the end of your world! It just means you get another shot at submitting an answer.
All of our courses are offered through the ‘Trainer-Directed-Learning” model. In this format, trainers will be in direct contact with you to assist and direct you through your online assessments and workshops.
