Shelly Bowden

Health and Community Services Trainer

Highly qualified and experienced in the Community Services industry, with a specialisation in working with children.

Shelly joined TrainSmart Australia in 2022 as a trainer for our Health and Community Services faculty.

Shelly holds her Diploma in Community Services – Children’s Services and Advanced Diploma of Children’s Services. She has many years of experience and has held various positions within the Early Childhood Education and Care industry whilst studying her Certificate IV Training and Assessment.

Shelly moved to South Australia from interstate and this allowed her to pursue a new career path as a trainer and mentor. Shelly is very passionate about Community Services and since becoming a trainer, she has had the opportunity to work with teenage learners through to mature students and finds that she learns just as much from her students as they do whilst completing their qualifications.

Shelly’s specialist units are:

CHCPRP003 Reflect on and improve own professional practice

CHCPOL003 Research and apply evidence to practice

CHCCOM003 Develop workplace communication strategies
