Operating a Small Business Skill Set is a 14 week mostly online course that will equip you with skills and knowledge to be job-ready in any business situation. Through the course, you will learn how to:
- Design and produce business documents and publications
- Design and develop digital text-based documents
- Develop and create spreadsheets through the use of cloud-based and non-cloud based applications
- Identify financial requirements of a business, including cash flow projections, profit targets, and financial support strategies.
You will also learn how to understand and implement Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, policies, and procedures, and how to create and build a social media presence.
The course is mainly online, meaning you can study theory components in the comfort of your own home. However it also allows for some face-to-face interaction to further your skills, and you will have access to our campus and facilities if you need them.
