Now we’re officially in winter do you fancy a pick me up during these short days? Well, you need to make room in your calendar for ‘The Mundella Everywoman Expo’ which takes place on the 19/20/21st June at Perth Convention Centre.

As Director of Marketing Shelley Tilbrook explains “The Expo is all about what every woman wants and needs in her life. We have information to empower, ideas to inspire and entertainment to enjoy. There will be workout classes, cookery psychic readings and more.”

There are 300 exhibitors all under one roof promoting health, careers, beauty and fashion to food and lifestyle.

We will be on stand G17 and we’ll be on hand to talk to you about all our courses here at TrainSmart Australia including our Diploma of Beauty Therapy and Diploma of Salon Management.

There will also be the opportunity to speak to our career counsellors.

Here at TrainSmart Australia we have two qualified Beauty Therapists who teach our Beauty Diploma course and seventy per cent is practical so you gain real-hands on experience in areas such as massage, make-up and treatments.

Teaching is in the CBD district of Perth and the course takes approximately one year and you will be expected to come into our college three days a week. The course is approved and recognised by industry professionals and we offer VET STUDENT HELP so there are no upfront costs.

Our next course is scheduled to start on 29th June and we hope to start another one in August. Places are limited so make sure you book your place early for this Diploma of Beauty qualification.

In spite of the downturn in the economy, the beauty industry is booming. Surprisingly when economic misery takes hold, women spend more on beauty products and treatments. Research has shown that the more insecure the economy, the more women spend on lipsticks, therapies, and make-up.

These days everyone takes grooming far more seriously. Once upon a time, it was considered un-feminist, but now taking care of yourself is a requirement if you want to boost your job prospects and feel good about yourself.

There is nothing more luxurious than being pampered and having some me-time, be it a body massage or manicure. Yes, you can compete with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift who grace our glossy magazines!
