It’s that time of the year where we all need to let our hair down, throw away the rules and feel glamourous. Whether it be for that Office Christmas Party or New Year’s Eve celebrations. Take a well-earnt break from the normal everyday makeup and embrace your wild side.
This is the season to step out in style.
One of the biggest trends for 17-18 is the Metallic make-up look. Fashion Week has been and gone, the place where trends are set. Metallic make-up took over the stage, all types of metallic on show. The flash across the eye, metallic freckles and gold lips for days. This is the celebrity trend of the season as well. Celebs all over the world are making a bold statement with it, with the likes of Beyoncé, Gigi Hadid and Kim K all sporting the look.
At Alberta Ferretti – gold, red and black shadows were the statement colours, blended perfectly to showcase the beauty element but also the warrior woman.
Alexis Mabille used just a flash of gold across the eye – END RESULT striking.
Throw a touch of Silver, Bronze OR Gold into your look this summer
How do you pick the best shade for you?
Think of the season – it’s summertime, go for golds as it brings out the warmer tones in your skin – match this with your bronzer and you’re ready to hit the town.
Step by step for the perfect metallic look:
Apply bronze or gold to your inner eye corners to brighten them up, add a hint of metallic to your lip colour, be daring wear a metallic liner, be brave wear a metallic lid, if you feel the wild side throw some in your hair, style with a side slick look – this will stand you out from the crowd.
If this is all too much – maybe try a metallic nail
Whichever you choose, this is the season for it.
Be Bold, Be Brave. We all have a little Warrior woman within!
